Jerry Woolf, DDS AAACD was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. As a Driller at Bakersfield High School, he was an All-American in swimming. He continued his career in swimming at University of California, Santa Barbara where he graduated with a degree in chemistry. Dr. Woolf received his doctorate in Dentistry from University of Southern California. Dr. Woolf has been providing cosmetic and general dental service to Kern County for 37 years.
Dr. Woolf is not only fully accredited with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, he has served as an Examiner for the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry judging the work of dental peers worldwide.
Regina Rivera, DDS received her bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University and her DDS from the University of California, San Francisco. She is active in the Kern County Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Rivera is fluent in English and Tagalog.
Rick Nagy, DDS MS is a specialist in Periodontics and Implants. Dr. Nagy served on faculty as Head of Periodontics at UCLA VA Department and President of the Periodontics Academy. Dr. Nagy has also published many research papers on his specialty. He received his undergrad degree at Miami University in Ohio. Currently Dr. Nagy resides in Santa Barbara, California.
James Sunwoo, MD, DDS is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive care in the head and neck region. He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a fellow of the College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His areas of expertise encompass traditional oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthognathic surgery and cosmetic surgery. He obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Chicago. He received dual degrees in medicine and dentistry, from the University of Southern California and Columbia University respectively. His postgraduate training, including an internship and residency, in general surgery and maxillofacial surgery, was completed at the University of Southern California. In addition, he is dual-fellowship trained in orthognathic surgery and general cosmetic surgery. He has received numerous honors and awards. He has consistently engaged in clinical, academic and research activities throughout his career. His extensive training and background affords him the ability to offer the highest standard of care to his patients.
Dr. Stuart MacPherson graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School receiving the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Over the years his post graduate education and training focused in the field of endodontics and he now specializes in treating patients in need of root canal procedures. Dr. Mac spends a considerable amount of time participating in a variety of charitable dental clinics. These would include inner city and immigrant focused clinics, and as an active pilot he is a member of AeroMedicos and The Flying Samaritans operating volunteer missions in Baja, Mexico. His hobbies include restoring antique and vintage aircraft, as well as surfing and bicycling. Summers find Dr./Cap'n Mac flying scenic, open cockpit biplane tours over the San Juan Islands Islands in the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Brandon McCullough attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA earning a BS in Pre-medicine Biology minoring in Psychology and Chemistry. He started his dental degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Reaching the top of his class after his freshman year he was granted the opportunity to transfer to a school closer to family and his future wife, Kallee. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. He has an interest in the art of cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. He is currently working on accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which is the largest dental cosmetic organization in the world. In addition, he is completing a post-graduate program in orthodontics with Progressive Orthodontics Seminars. He has made his home in Bakersfield with his wife who is a professor at California State University, Bakersfield in the criminal justice department. They enjoy life at home with their two dogs, Remi and Sashka. Together they love exploring what California has to offer. During his free time Dr. McCullough’s hobbies include building computers, hydroponic gardening, and competitive online gaming.
